The goal of the B.Green was to find new green infrastructure solutions suitable for northern climate and to map out digital tools that allow planning and implementation of these solutions within the urban planning context. An important goal is also to communicate the benefits of participatory urban planning and green infrastructure to all levels of stakeholders, including planners, decision-makers and residents.
The duration of the project was from 1.2.2020 to 31.12.2022. B.Green project was coordinated by Forum Virium Helsinki. The project partners were the City of Helsinki, City of Tallinn, and the Stockholm Environment Institute Tallinn Center (SEI Tallinn).
The project was funded by the Interreg Central Baltic Programme. Interreg Central Baltic funds international development projects between Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Sweden.
